This presentation will explore the foundational building blocks needed to optimize communication in Team-based healthcare settings. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss current barriers in communicating with team members and brainstorm for how to address those barriers. As an interactive webinar, participants will learn about different frameworks and tools that support a team to communicate effectively in daily, routine work as well as in critical situations (e.g. Effective huddles, SBAR tool, CUS). The workshop will also explore the "Experience Cube" and highlight its usefulness in giving effective feedback to team members.
